JOB SUMMARY:

The scope of this job is to provide on-site technical support services for the audiovisual (AV) and video teleconference (VTC) systems situated in multiple rooms and buildings at Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ), Quantico, VA. The individual shall devote continuous on-site AV system operation support for certain MCBQ locations. The individual performing at these sites will power up and down systems, operate equipment and perform troubleshooting.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate, monitor, and adjust AV equipment to include connecting audio, video, power, communication and control cables, microphones loudspeakers, VTC and recording equipment.

• Configure and troubleshoot classified and unclassified VTCs.

• Set up and take down equipment for meetings.

• Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and manage moves, adds, and changes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Technology Specialist ( AVIXA CTS )

• 5 years of experience supporting fixed/portable AV/VTC systems and equipment from multiple OEMs including Cisco, Poly, Crestron, and Extron operating AV systems including sound, video projection, displays, control panels, video switchers, videoconferencing, videotape recording and playback.

• Knowledge of audio recorders, amplifiers, microphone theory, power amplifiers, loudspeaker, and lighting.
